Now that you know what a “sursee” is, let’s talk about the why behind this site.
“Each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace”
1 Peter 4:10
My mom was my inspiration. She was my light — the steady, gentle kind that makes everything feel possible. The one who nudged me to try new things, dream bigger, and step outside the safe little lines I drew for myself.
She was always saying,
“You can do anything. Be anything.”
And more than anything, she wanted me to be independent, brave, and kind.
I was lucky enough to have sixteen beautiful years with her before Jesus called her home. Sixteen years of lessons and the kind of love that sticks with you forever.
And even though she’s not here in the everyday sense, she’s still woven into everything I do.
She’s in the way I create.
In the way I encourage others.
In the way I try new things even when they feel scary.
She left her mark on my heart — and honestly, on this whole little brand too.
So much of what I share here comes from her… the idea that little things matter, that small gestures can bring big joy, that we don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
I’m definitely not an expert at life (not even close), but I love learning as I go — trying things, making mistakes, figuring it out one step at a time.
And I’d love for you to come along with me.
This space is meant to feel like a warm kitchen table — creative, encouraging, and real. A place where we share what works, laugh at what doesn’t, and grow together.
Your feedback, your ideas, your stories — they mean the world to me.
Thanks for being here. Truly.
Cheers,
Angie
