Little Things. Great Joy.

WHO WE ARE
Sursees is all about the little things that bring great joy.
The unexpected note, the perfect little gift, a recipe worth sharing, a beautiful table, a word of encouragement, or a reminder of God’s goodness in the middle of an ordinary day. That is what a “sursee” is. It’s an old southern word to describe a little special surprise. We believe joy doesn’t always come from the big moments. More often, it’s tucked into the small ones. Sursees is a place to share those little things, celebrate everyday life, encourage one another, and hopefully leave you a little happier than when you arrived.
Sursees was created from a love of making everyday moments feel a little more special.
Around here, that might mean gathering people around the table, trying a new recipe, creating something by hand, finding the perfect little gift, opening the Bible over a cup of coffee, or simply noticing something beautiful in the middle of a busy day. We’re not about perfect homes, perfect meals, or perfectly put-together lives. We’re about finding the good that’s already there, sharing it with the people we love, and remembering that sometimes the smallest things are the ones that bring us the greatest joy.
We Believe In
We believe in finding joy in the little things, loving people well, creating with purpose, and seeing God in the everyday.

Meet Angie
Hi, I’m Angie, the heart behind Sursees. I’ve always believed some of life’s greatest joys are found in the smallest things: a handwritten note, something made by hand, a beautiful table, a good meal shared with people you love, or a quiet morning spent with God. I’m a creative at heart who loves making, cooking, photography, celebrating people, and finding ways to make the everyday feel a little more special.
Sursees was created as a place to share all of those things, but most importantly, to encourage you to notice the joy God has tucked into ordinary life. Here you’ll find creative projects, recipes and gathering ideas, Bible studies, and little bits of inspiration for living with more intention and joy. My hope is that you leave here inspired to make something, gather your people, grow in your faith, and remember that sometimes the littlest things mean the most.
